Nirosta, Duplex, Super Duplex, 4003, 3CR12, Zeron etc
We don’t just laser cut standard stainless steel. We also get asked for the more specialist materials such as duplex and zeron. These are not materials we normally stock but with a bit of effort we can usually get hold of them. Applications include aggressive seawater immersion and particular structural applications. Don’t forget there is also the stainless alternative, Nirosta (also know as 3CR12 and 4003) – this is not really stainless, it sits somewhere between mild steel and stainless with regard to its corrosion resistance and its price.
